Boyfriend adalah grup baru di bawah Starship Entertainment (perusahaan yang sama seperti K. Will, dan Sistar), memulai debutnya pada tanggal 26 Mei 2011 di M! Net MCountdown dengan 1st Single Album mereka"Boyfriend." Beberapa dari mereka muncul di MV sunbaes mereka sebelum debut. Jo Twins dan No MinWoo juga membintangi Daily sitkom "All My Love" sebagai pelajar di MBC's
